AFTER CARE |
"Get the most from your treatment...." |
It is very important to follow after care advice to get the maximum benefits from your treatment. Here is a simple list of aftercare advice that should be followed 24 hours after treatment: |
- Rest and relax. Try some deep breathing exercises so the body can heal itself efficiently.
- Drink lots of water to help flush out the toxins from the body dispersed during treatment.
- Eat small meals. Large meals will cause blood to be diverted to the stomach to help with digestion instead of using the energy to aid the healing process.
- Avoid coffee, tea and colas as the caffeine they contain will stimulate & not help you to relax.
- Do not smoke or drink alcohol as the treatment is detoxifying the system & drinking & smoking will introduce toxins back into the body.
- Avoid sunbeds or sun bathing as the oils may cause you to burn quickly
